Women's Elite Development a Key Figure at BFF
The Women's Residency Programme has been in full throttle since August 2020. Whilst overcoming the Global Pandemic and carefully orchestrating the return to training initiative instigated by the BFF, the best female players in the country are quietly preparing for the up-and-coming competitions in 2021. The Captain of Senior Women’s National Team Ms. Sabina Khutan commented: "The training is very varied and really hard work. We are all working away on a daily basis, with an eye on the Competitions this year" Players at U-17, U-20 and Seniors are currently in BFF women’s residency Camp. New players are consistently being invited as there is the need to find the best players, which is always the target. Federation’s General Secretary Mr. Abu Nayeem Shohag said: "We are proud of our female players, and we have enjoyed some success, but there is much-continued work to do. We are looking forward to the future with optimism"

The 1st Regular Meeting of the Sub-Committee on 'Third Division Football League 2019-20' was held
The 1st Regular Meeting of the Sub-Committee on 'Third Division Football League 2019-20' under the Dhaka Metropolitan Football League Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation was scheduled to be held today 12-01-2021 at 3:30 pm in the 2nd floor meeting room of the Dhaka Metropolitan Football League Committee at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The meeting was adjourned due to the death of a relative of the chairman of the committee and BFF vice-president Mr. Md. Imrul Hasan. The country's top league 'Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21' with the participation of 13 top football teams of the country under the management of Bangladesh Football Federation will set to start at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka, Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium, Gazipur, FLT. LT. Matiur Rahman Stadium, Munshiganj and Shaheed Dhirendra Nath Stadium, Comilla from January 13, 2021. The Matches of the league will be telecast LIVE on T Sports channel. After the final match between Saif Sporting Club Ltd. vs. Bashundhara Kings held at Bangabandhu National Stadium on January 10, 2021, Bashundhara Kings player Mr. Touhidul Islam Sabuj attacked and misbehaved with BFF Security Supervisor Mr. Sohail Matubbar. For this reason, the BFF Disciplinary Committee player Mr. Touhidul Islam Sabuj has been fined Tk. 50,000/- (fifty thousand) and banned for the next two matches on behalf of his team. An online meeting of the BFF Player Status Committee was held again on 11 January 2021 on the late completion of the transfer process by Brothers Union Ltd. After a detailed discussion at the BFF Executive Committee meeting on the issue, taking consideration on Brothers Union Ltd.'s long heritage and the regular participation in all competitions organized by BFF, the BFF Player Status Committee submitted its views on participation in the upcoming Premier League 2020-21. The BFF Player Status Committee reviewed all of the following issues and decided to allow Brothers Union Ltd. to participate in the upcoming Premier League 2020-21.

Honorable President of BFF Kazi Md. Salahuddin paid a visit to today's BPL match
Results of today's Bangladesh Premier League 2021 match: Today's match of Bangladesh Premier League 2021 has been played in Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium, Cumilla between Basundhara Kings and Brothers Union Ltd. at 3:00 PM. In the match, Bashundhara Kings defeated Brothers Union Ltd. by 1-0 goal. The only goal for Bashundhara Kings was scored by Robson in the 64th minute. Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Md. Salahuddin was present as the chief guest in the match.

Historic Initiative as BFF implement a Nationwide Talent Hunt
The BFF AFC B Diploma Part 2 Course concluded a few days ago with a full contingent of Coaches. After Part 1 of the Course that took place in November of 2020. The Coaches were from either some BPL or BCL clubs undertook a variety of theory, practical and knowledge-based tasks over ten days. As part of the Course, the Coaches undertook Match Analysis tasks at the recent Federation Cup quarter, semi and final match stages. This provided a real challenge to them during many interesting and exciting encounters. The Course was graced with some former National Team players who had experienced the game at the top level like Abdullah Lalul, Biplob, Kanchan, Titu, Amin Rana, Meshu, Hasan Al Mamun, Nazrul, Hasan and others. The Coaches now have some additional work to do before confirming the completion of their coaching portfolio and practical assessment opportunities. Mr. Paul Smalley National Technical Director, "it’s a pleasure working with all the coaches on the course, as they all bring their subtleness of experiences which adds to the authenticity, the content and modern thinking. We look forward to their Coaching Portfolio, their tasks and ideas over the coming weeks." The BFF is hosting another BFF AFC B Diploma Part 2 Course started today at BFF Conference Room with another 35 participants from Part 1. This course will conclude on 29th January 2021 and participants will go through the same as the previous group with some additional works to earn their competency. This is another opportunity for coaches at all levels of the game.
