Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Md. Salahuddin received the Covid-19 vaccine at Mugda Medical College Hospital on 08 February 2021 at 11.00 am. BFF General Secretary Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, Principal of Mugda Medical College Prof. Dr. Ahmedul Kabir, and Director of Mugda Medical College and Hospital Dr. Asim Kumar Nath were present during the vaccination. The corona vaccine was given by Smita Gayen, a senior nurse at the hospital.

Regarding the vaccination, Hon'ble President Kazi Md. Salahuddin said, "I have wanted to give the vaccine whenever I heard that the vaccine has come to Bangladesh. Millions of people in Europe are being vaccinated. It is in the early-stage now. I brought my wife and children as I came myself, as did other members of BFF. But my request is to make the process of vaccination easier. '
